Searching

Searches are done on the title, description and keyword fields of the database.

Searching is not case sensitive. So doing a search for 'Street' and then for 'street' will produce exactly the same results.

Partial search keywords work just fine. So searching for 'Ann' will return all photos that have 'Ann', 'Suzanne', 'canny', etc... in either their title, description or keywords.

You may also find it helpful to add a space character before/after your keyword. eg searching for " sport" will then ensure not returning any instances of "transport".

Keywords

All photos in the collection have a 'keywords' field. This allows searches by 'image subject' or by 'image concept'. So that rather than just 'car' you can search for, say, 'transport'. The following are the agreed 16 keywords:
