Comments:
I was born and brought up - to the age of 4 - in this street, moving in 1954. The picture looks to be of houses on the Water Street side of the street. Houses opposite - where I was born - had no back (garden, yard, anything !) but backed onto the beck which runs along side Springs Canal. I think they are now renovated mews cottages.
